tricophytic closure delayed healing by dr richard ochs

why hasn't my donor incision healed yet following tricophytic closure

tricophytic closure drives hair through the donor scar to camoflague the incison. this is especially helpful for patients with short hair ( less than 1cm).
the down side of the technique is that the incision may become inflammed and the healing delayed as the hairs begin to grow through the scar. all in all, it is worth the delay and minor complications as the results are impressive
